I am a Psychologist with experience within government and private practice settings. I am an advanced ego state therapist, schema therapist, and use a client centred approach with a strong focus on attachment and polyvagal theory. I work with kids, adolescents, and adults.
I am a passionate and forward-thinking EMDR consultant, and facilitator at EMDR training events with Psychology Training. I am trained in all stages of advanced Attachment Informed EMDR and have a special focus on the integration of EMDR with other therapeutic modalities and approaches. My goal as a consultant and facilitator is to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to create long lasting change with your clients.
I am currently completing my PhD in the area of trauma focused treatments for prolonged grief, assessing the use of EMDR and Imagery Rescripting. I have a passion for both teaching and research. I have been the guest speaker presenting on the topic of EMDR and have been involved in both national and international research and academic projects. This has included research on schema therapy and contributing to the International Handbook on Child and Adolescent Grief. I am also currently a casual academic at the University of Tasmania teaching in the area of mental health and clinical psychology.
I offer both individual and ongoing group consultations and would love to support you with your EMDR journey. These are suited for any level of EMDR practice and are suited to your needs.
